Oilware's ASC/PAK library
is an integrated set of access routines for manipulating
ASCII files containing digital well logging information.
ASC/PAK has been implemented in C and is FORTRAN callable.
ASC/PAK processing involves transferring information between
ASCII files and C data structures as directed by a format
file. ASC/PAK is available for VAX minicomputers under
VMS or Ultrix; Sun, SGI, HP, or RS6000 workstations under
UNIX; and 80x86 or Pentium computers under MSDOS
or UNIX (other platforms available on request).

(LAS) formats, LBS and WellLogML the new XML Well Log
Data standard.
New ASCII formats can be added
by creating additional format definition files. No source
code changes necessary!
No limitations on number of curves, number
of supported ASCII formats, etc.
Multiple ASCII files or sets of ASCII files
open simultaneously.
Optional storage of curve data in a temporary
file so that it can be retrieved in any order.
Sample application programs supplied with
ASC/PAK for scanning or creating ASCII files.
